WASHINGTON D.C. –U.S. Senator John Boozman released the following statement in advance of the April 29^th anniversary marking the last time the Senate passed a formal budget. 

“Our country is facing record deficits and an ever increasing debt and the Senate Majority is failing to act on putting us on a path of fiscal responsibility. This is failure to govern at the most basic level and the American people deserve better. We need to pass a budget that reins in spending and balances our budget. It is time to put together a plan that demonstrates fiscal discipline.”
