WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator John Boozman applauded the efforts of talented college students interning in his Washington and state offices for their service to the people of Arkansas. 

“These interns have been a tremendous help to my staff and to the people of Arkansas. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to being an ambassador for our state and my office. I’m confident they found the internship rewarding and learned a lot about the work we do on behalf of Arkansans,” Boozman said.

Nikki Anderson, Madeleine Carpenter, Lindsay Cross, Anna Lants, Laura Michenfelder, Natalie Proctor, Chloe Riggs, Clinton Summers, Brooke Taylor, Wesley Wiechman, Coby Wilson, and Danielle Zapata are completing a five-week internship in Senator Boozman’s Washington D.C. office. These interns have dedicated themselves to serving Arkansans by answering incoming phone calls, assisting with mail and giving Capitol tours to Arkansans.

Victoria Anderson, Hannah Barr, Madison Brown and Dalton Huerkamp interned in the state offices. These interns served Arkansans by writing letters, researching issues related to constituent services and federal agencies and representing the senator at community events and meetings alongside his staff.

Nikki Anderson is from Fayetteville. She graduated from Fayetteville High School in 2015. She is junior at the University of Arkansas where she is majoring in economics and criminal justice and minoring in French and legal studies.

Victoria Anderson is from Armorel. She graduated from Armorel High School in 2014. She is a senior at Ouachita Baptist University where she is majoring in English and mass communications.

Hannah Barr is from Fort Smith. She graduated from Southside High School in 2014. She is a senior at Arkansas State University where she is studying political science.

Madison Brown is from El Dorado. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 2014. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying political science and communications.

Madeleine Carpenter is from Jonesboro. She graduated from Valley View High School in 2014. She is a senior at the University of Mississippi. She studies international studies and Spanish.

Lindsay Cross is from Clarksville. She graduated from Clarksville High School in 2013. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is majoring in political science, history and advertising.

Dalton Huerkamp is from Arkadelphia. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 2014. He is a senior at Ole Miss where he is majoring in public policy leadership. 

Anna Lants is from Little Rock. She graduated from Pulaski Academy in 2015. She is a junior at the University of Virginia where she is pursuing degrees in English and philosophy and a minor in psychology.

Laura Michenfelder is from St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 2014. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in political science and minors in English and French. 

Natalie Proctor is from Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from St. George’s Independent School in 2014. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in advertising and public relations. 

Chloe Riggs is from Bentonville. She graduated from Bentonville High School in 2015. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas. She is pursuing degrees in political science and Spanish and a minor in legal studies.

Clinton Summers is from Berryville. He graduated from Berryville High School in 2014. He is a senior at Arkansas State University where he majors in finance and minors in political science.

Brooke Taylor is from King City, California. She graduated from King City High School in 2014. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is majoring in agricultural business and pre-law and minoring in agricultural communications, agricultural leadership and political science.

Wesley Wiechman is from Rogers. He graduated from Rogers Heritage High School in 2014. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in political science and minoring in legal studies.

Coby Wilson is from Vilonia where he graduated from Vilonia High School in 2012. He is a recent graduate from Oklahoma State University in 2017. He majored in animal science and minored in agricultural business and agricultural economics.

Danielle Zapata is from Arlington, Texas. She graduated from Lamar High School in 2014. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying biomedical engineering.
