Visiting Washington, D.C.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ARKANSANS CONSIDERING TRAVELING TO THE WASHINGTON, DC AREA**

  • District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowers issued Order 2020-081 on July 24, 2020 which requires all persons arriving to the District of Columbia from coronavirus “high-risk areas” to self-quarantine for 14 days.

  • High-risk areas are locations where the seven-day moving average of the daily new COVID-19 case rate is 10 or more per 100,000 persons.

  • Arkansas is among the states currently listed as a "high-risk area" in the Mayor's order, which would require a 14-day self-quarantine on the part of travelers upon arrival into the city.

  • As of October 19, 2020, Arkansas remains on the mayor's most updated list of "high-risk areas."
