May 23 2013
WASHINGTON – West Memphis residents calling U.S. Senator John Boozman’s Washington, D.C. office may find a familiar voice at the other end of the line.
Mallory Cupples of West Memphis joined Boozman’s staff as a Staff Assistant.
“Living and working in Washington has always been a dream of mine. I can remember being a little girl telling people that I was going to be working here one day. It has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get here, but working for Senator Boozman has completely made it all worthwhile,” Cupples said.
“Mallory is a great addition to our office. Her connection and familiarity with issues impacting the state is important as we address policies significant to Arkansas. I appreciate Mallory’s hard work, enthusiasm and commitment to provide the best services and outreach to Arkansans,” Boozman said.
As a staff assistant, Cupples plays a vital role in providing the great constituent service for which Boozman is known. She is responsible for answering questions from Arkansans who call the Senator’s Washington office about pending legislation and debates on the Senate Floor. She also helps organize and process pictures taken with the Senator and is in charge of processing flag requests received by the office.
Prior to joining Boozman’s staff, Cupples interned for Third District Congressman Steve Womack.
Cupples is a 2009 graduate of West Memphis Christian School, and a 2012 of Union University in Jackson, TN with a bachelor’s degree in International and Intercultural Studies. She is the daughter of Bobby and Marianne Cupples of West Memphis, and younger sister to Ashli.
