WASHINGTON, D.C. –U.S Senator John Boozman applauded the efforts of the talented college students interning in his Washington D.C. office for their service to the people of Arkansas. 

“Our interns have been a great help to the people of Arkansas during their time in Washington. I appreciate their dedication and their commitment to working with the staff to address issues concerning Arkansans. They have taken advantage of the opportunities in Washington and learned about the legislative process and how we serve the people of our state,” Boozman said. 

Weston Cox, Jacob Costello, Alex Flemister, Madison Rice, Barbara Scott, Will Smith, Ford Tolar, Paul Eakampai, Pauline Audras, Matt Knudsvig and Jacob Weaver are finishing their five week internship in Boozman’s office. The interns have worked answering phones, writing letters, researching legislative issues and giving Arkansans tours of the U.S. Capitol. 

Weston Cox is a 2010 graduate of Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in Agriculture Economics and Agriculture Business and minoring in Finance. 

Jacob Costello is a 2011 graduate of Elkins High School in Elkins. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in Landscape Architecture.

Alex Flemister is a 2013 graduate of Pulaski Academy in Little Rock. He is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas majoring in Finance. 

Madison Rice is a 2012 graduate of Pocahontas High School in Pocahontas. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas majoring in Economics and minoring in Political Science. 

Barbara Scott is a 2012 graduate of Oak Grove High School in Bessemer, Alabama.  She is a junior at the University of Mobile majoring in Political Science and minoring in Communications. 

Will Smith is a 2010 graduate of Lee Academy High School in Marianna. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in Finance and minoring in Marketing. 

Ford Tolar is from Columbia, South Carolina and will be starting his senior year at Spring Valley High School. He is pursing attending the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. 

Paul Eakampai is from Chiang Mai, Thailand and is a 2011 graduate of Faith Christian Academy. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in International Relations and minoring in History. 

Pauline Audras is from Gueret, France and is a 2009 graduate of Pierre Bourdan High School. She is a senior at the Catholic University of the West in Angers, France. She is majoring in business and minoring in English History and Literature. 

Matt Knudsvig is from Rye, New York and is a 2011 graduate of Rye High School. He is a junior at Boston University majoring in International Relations and minoring in Economics. 

Jacob Weaver is from Roswell, Georgia and is a 2013 graduate of Fellowship Christian High School. He is a sophomore at Franklin University Switzerland majoring in International Business Management.
