WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Boozman will host two events Monday, February 9 to connect with Arkansans and discuss topics under debate in Washington.

Boozman will host a Facebook Q&A at 12:30 p.m. CT to answer questions from Arkansans. To participate, Arkansans should follow Senator John Boozman’s Facebook page to ask a question and participate in the discussion.

Boozman also invites Arkansans to participate in a telephone town hall that will begin at 7 p.m. CT. This statewide event allows Arkansans the ability to ask Boozman questions over the phone or listen to the conversation about the issues impacting them.

Arkansans interested in participating in the phone call have two ways to join.

  1. Call toll free 888-400-1986 to connect to the conversation and ask a question
  2. Add their phone number to the call list by submitting their information on Boozman’s website www.boozman.senate.gov under the contact tab.

“An open line of communication and accessibility to Arkansans is important to fulfilling my commitment to serving the people of our state. Facebook and telephone-town halls allow me to connect with Arkansans while working in Washington. These are great forums that provide an opportunity for people to ask me questions about issues important to them,” Boozman said.

These events kick-off a week highlighting the services Boozman and his staff provide to Arkansans. Last year more than 3,000 Arkansans reached out for help resolving issues involving federal government services and benefits. Constituent service is a priority for the senator. The staff regularly hosts mobile office events around the state. Next week staff will host mobile office events in Fairfield Bay, Alma, Helena, Walnut Ridge, Harrison, Siloam Springs and Magnolia to make it more accessible for Arkansans to get help.
