Last Thursday afternoon, Izzy’s Restaurant hosted a unique first-time gathering as United States Senator John Boozman visited with Delbert DuCharme, Sr., a retired military hero now living in Prescott. DuCharme’s step-daughter, Connie Cox, of Camden, was present for the meeting, which she called “impressive” and “extraordinary.”

“I was very impressed with Senator Boozman; he was very personable and likable, and he seemed genuinely interested in Delbert and his service. It wasn’t like one of those five minute photo opportunities; they met and talked for a good hour,” Cox said in a later interview.
