Boozman Introduced Fowlkes to the Senate Judiciary Committee in November 2025.   

WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) applauded Senate confirmation of David Clay Fowlkes to serve as a judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

“I am pleased to congratulate Clay Fowlkes on his confirmation and have great confidence his temperament, tireless dedication and extensive experience in pursuing justice will serve him well,” said Boozman. “He is committed to upholding and following the law, and I look forward to his success on the bench.”

Fowlkes is a Harrison native currently serving as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, which includes 34 counties stretching from Texarkana and El Dorado to Fayetteville and Fort Smith. He is a graduate of Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas Law School. Boozman introduced Fowlkes at his Senate Judiciary Committee hearing and encouraged support for his nomination.
