Boozman Announces Mississippi County Mobile Offices

Invites Residents to Participate

Jul 02 2014

WASHINGTON –U.S. Senator John Boozman announced today that members of his staff will be in Mississippi County for two Mobile Office events. Boozman’s staff will be available at the walk-in events to help Arkansans who are having problems involving the federal government and to hear their thoughts about legislative issues.

The Mobile Offices will be on Wednesday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mississippi County Courthouse in Blytheville and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Mississippi County Courthouse in Osceola.

“Helping constituents navigate the federal bureaucracy remains at the top of my list of priorities. We want to make sure we make it more convenient for Arkansans to use our services to help cut through the red tape. I have a great staff that works to help navigate the often-confusing federal agencies. These staffers act as liaisons; working to resolve issues affecting Arkansans such as Social Security or Medicare paperwork glitches, passport problems or tax matters,” Boozman said. “My staff is looking forward to visiting with the residents of Mississippi County and answering their questions and helping resolve issues they may be having with federal agencies.”

For more information on this event, contact the Senator’s Jonesboro office at (870) 268-6925.
