WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR), Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee, released the following statement after the Senate confirmed Kevin McAleenan to serve as Commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection:

He is well-qualified to lead one of the world’s largest law enforcement agencies and oversee securing our nation’s borders and ports of entry.
