WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) recognized the efforts of dedicated college students who served the state of Arkansas as interns in his Washington office this summer.

“These bright, young students have been a great help to the people of Arkansas during their time in Washington. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to working with my staff to address issues concerning the Natural State. They have taken advantage of the unique opportunities available in the nation’s capital while learning about the legislative process and how my team serves Arkansans,” Boozman said. 

Aryn Blumenberg, Alex Fink, Colen Morrow, Zoe Patrick, Tyler Phillips, Kyle Van Ryn, and Jack Zook completed a six-week internship in Boozman’s Washington office. Their duties included constituent relations, legislative research and administrative assistance. Interns also had the opportunity to meet distinguished Arkansans through the senator’s intern speaker series.  

Aryn Blumenberg is from Conway, Arkansas. She graduated from Conway High School in 2018 and is a rising senior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying food sciences and political science. 

Alex Fink is a Conway, Arkansas native who now lives in Stuttgart. He recently graduated from Greenville University where he ran track and field and studied history, political science and Spanish.

Colen Morrow is from Benton, Arkansas and is a 2019 graduate of Benton High School. He is a rising junior at the University of Arkansas where he is studying political science and finance. 

Zoe Patrick is a Memphis, Tennessee resident who is a rising senior at the University of Arkansas. She is studying political science, marketing and behavioral economics 

Tyler Phillips is a 2015 graduate of North Little Rock High School. He attended the University of Arkansas where he played football and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2018. He currently attends Texas A&M University School of Law. 

Kyle Van Ryn is from Chicago, Illinois and attended the University of North Carolina – Charlotte where he graduated with a degree in business management. 

Jack Zook is from Atlanta, Georgia and is a 2021 graduate of University of Mississippi where he studied integrated marketing communications and history.
