WASHINGTON, D.C.–U.S Senator John Boozman applauded efforts of interns working in his Washington D.C. office for service to the people of Arkansas. 

“Our interns have been a great help to the people of Arkansas during their time in Washington. I appreciate their dedication and their commitment to working with the staff to address issues concerning Arkansans. They have taken advantage of the opportunities in Washington and learned about legislative process and how we serve the people of Arkansas,” Boozman said. 

Omotola Akinsola, Jordan Collins, David Galloway, Meghan Hughes, Caroline Kelly, Leah Nichols, Bo Renner, Benjamin Shipley IV, Liam Starr, Taylor Tarkington and Cassandra Williams will spend the next five weeks helping to answer phones, researching legislative issues and giving Arkansans tours of the U.S Capitol. 

Omotola Akinsola is a 2007 graduate of the International School of Ibadan in Oyo, Nigeria. She recently graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina with a degree in Social Work and minors in Leadership Studies and Psychology. 

Jordan Collins is a 2011 graduate of Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas where she is pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. 

David Galloway is a 2001 graduate of Central High School in Helena. He is a senior at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia where he is majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. 

Meghan Hughes is a 2009 graduate of St. Antonio High School in Huntington, New York. She is a senior at Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts where she is studying Elementary Education and Human Development. 

Caroline Kelly is a 2010 graduate of Rogers High School in Rogers. She is junior at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas where she is pursuing a degree in Politics. 

Leah Nichols is a 2009 graduate of Nashville High School in Nashville. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is majoring in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. 

Bo Renner is a 2010 graduate of Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville. He is a junior at the University of Arkansas where he is studying Business Economics with a minor in Political Science. 

Benjamin Shipley IV is a 2009 graduate of Southside High School in Fort Smith. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas where he is studying Transportation and Logistics with a minor in Marketing. 

Liam Starr is a 2008 graduate of Athens High School in Troy, Michigan. He is a senior at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He is pursuing a degree in Political Theory, Concentrational Democracy and International Relations. 

Taylor Tarkington is a 2010 graduate of Beebe High School in Beebe. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas where she is majoring in International Relations and Political Science. 

Cassandra Williams is a 2009 graduate of Springdale High School in Springdale. She is a senior at Arkansas Tech where she is pursuing a degree in Social Studies Secondary Education with a minor in English.
