WASHINGTON – Des Arc residents calling U.S. Senator John Boozman’s Stuttgart office may find a familiar voice at the other end of the line.
John Dobson, a 2012 graduate of Des Arc High School, is participating in Boozman’s Congressional Spring Internship program in the senator’s Stuttgart office.
As an intern, Dobson is responsible for handling local constituent correspondence and representing the senator at community meetings and events.
“Interning for Senator Boozman is an intriguing learning experience, especially being able to work with the senator’s dedicated staff to help the people of Arkansas,” Dobson said.
“Outreach to Arkansans is an important responsibility. John has a unique opportunity to see the services my office offers that extend beyond our nation’s capital. I appreciate his commitment to serving Arkansas as an ambassador for my office,” Boozman said.
Dobson is a junior at Arkansas State University at Jonesboro where he is pursuing a degree in Agriculture Business. He is the son of Rick and Rita Dobson of Des Arc.
