WASHINGTON D.C.–U.S. Senators Mark Pryor and John Boozman, along with Congressman Rick Crawford (AR-1) today announced that the Osceola Municipal Airport will receive an $182,975 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to rehabilitate its taxiway and taxilanes.

“Investing in our infrastructure is a smart way we can grow our economy and create jobs,” Pryor said. “By making these much-needed safety improvements, this grant will help us attract businesses to our state.”

“Improvements to the airport are important to accommodate future economic development in and around Osceola,” Boozman said. “We must continue to meet the demands placed on our infrastructure in order to pave a path to private sector job growth.”

“This grant will allow for Osceola Municipal Airport to make much-needed investments in infrastructure to keep it competitive and bring jobs to our state. As a Member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, I will continue to fight for cost-conscious ways to support rural Arkansas families and jobs,” said Crawford.
