Hot Springs – For his steadfast support of policies that create jobs and grow the economy, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) was presented with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Spirit of Enterprise’ award today.

“I understand the role our businesses play in developing and growing our economy. That’s why I continue to promote policies that create an environment that provides certainty for businesses so they can expand and hire more employees. I appreciate this recognition by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and look forward to working together with members in Arkansas to advocate for measures that improve our economy,” Boozman said.

Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jim Fram presented Boozman with this honor.

“Senator Boozman is a longtime supporter of creating new and better jobs for our citizens through business growth in Arkansas. We join the US Chamber of Commerce in congratulating him on his success in supporting pro-job legislation and working for a growing Arkansas in the US Senate,” Fram said.

The award reflects Boozman support of pro-jobs, pro-growth policies in the second session of the 113th Congress.

The award recognizes lawmakers who supported the Chamber’s position on at least 70 percent of the eight key votes in the Senate including terrorism risk insurance (TRIA), tax extenders and the ‘cromnibus’ legislation funding the government.
