Boozman: "Our Veterans Deserve Better"

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) reaffirmed his commitment to ensure veterans receive the high quality services they earned by voting in support of The Veterans’ Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014. 

Prior to Senate passage, Boozman called on his colleagues to support improvements to veterans’ access to health care during a speech on the Senate floor.

The defense budget proposes to slash even more benefits our military families need. Sen. Boozman delivered this speech on the Senate floor saying "cuts on our military families are unacceptable and I will fight to preserve the benefits our military families were promised."
Sen. Boozman joined efforts condemning the Russian military siege of Crimea in a bipartisan Senate resolution that calls for a withdrawing of troops, and a negotiating settlement to any concerns regarding the Crimea. He talks about the issue in this video.
House and Senate Veterans' Affairs Committees held a joint hearing to receive the Legislative Presentation of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Senator John Boozman, a member of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee asked William Thien, VFW Commander-in-Chief, about veterans' issues including funding and mental health concerns.
Senator John Boozman voted to restore misguided military retirement cuts that were included in the Bipartisan Budget Act. He spoke in support of the legislation on the Senate floor.
